Families, use the Bible your child is most comfortable with. SCA uses Bible curriculum written to be use with the New International Version (NIV).

K-4

Backpack or book bag, paint shirt, a change of clothes, rest mat, 2 boxes of Kleenex (to share with class). Please label belongings.

KINDERGARTEN

Bible, crayons (not the fat kind), paint shirt, blunt-end scissors, small bottle of glue and a glue stick, rest mat (no sleeping bags), pencils (#2 only), eraser, scotch tape, shoe box or pencil box (for supplies), back pack or book bag, change purse, a folder with pockets, box of Kleenex (to share with class).
Please label belongings.

FIRST GRADE

Bible, backpack or book bag (not with wheels), eraser, 12 inch ruler with centimeters, pencils, scissors, white glue, small box of about 30 crayons, no markers, a folder with pockets, no pens, small supply box (no deeper than 3 inches), stenographer's notebook, Kleenex (one large box at the start of school), steno pad or assignment notebook.
Please label belongings.

SECOND GRADE

Bible, backpack or book bag (not with wheels), assignment notebook or steno pad, WIDE-RULED, LOOSE-LEAF notebook paper, pencils, eraser,  12 inch ruler with centimeters, scissors, glue, small box of crayons, markers - optional, 2 folders with pockets, no pens, small supply box, Kleenex (one large box at the start of school), steno pad or assignment notebook.
Please label belongings.

THIRD GRADE

Bible, book bag or backpack (not with wheels), small pencil box or supply box, white glue, scissors, 12-inch ruler with metric, modest size box of crayons, markers are optional, pencils and erasers, WIDE-RULED, LOOSE-LEAF notebook paper, Kleenex (one large box at start of school), one pocket folder, steno pad or assignment notebook, red ink pen

FOURTH GRADE

Bible, small supply box, white glue, scissors, 12-inch ruler with metric, small box of crayons, pencils and erasers (no mechanical pencils),  WIDE-RULED LOOSE-LEAF notebook paper with binder, folder with pockets, dark blue or black ink pen, Kleenex (one large box at start of school), steno pad or assignment notebook  

FIFTH GRADE

Bible, loose-leaf notebook paper, binder with subject dividers, 2 pocket folders, one pack 3" x 5" & 1 pack 4" x 6" note cards, suggested dictionary - Webster's New World (paper back), Roget’s Thesaurus (paper back), colored pencils or crayons, Kleenex (one large box at start of school), metric on one side ruler, pencils (no mechanical pencils), erasers, small supply box, blue ink pen, steno pad or assignment notebook                                                                              

SIXTH THROUGH TWELFTH GRADE

Bible, Scissors, Kleenex, glue, rulers (metric on one side), pencils, pens, loose-leaf notebook paper, index cards, scotch tape, markers, colored pencils, sectioned binder with dividers for each subject, Webster’s School Dictionary.

Bible – separate 3-ring binder

American Government: separate 3 large ring binder

Math: compass, protractor, rulers with metric measurement, scientific calculator

Science: scientific calculator, colored pencils (no markers), protractor, compass

Chemistry, Biology, Physics Labs: separate 3 ring binder

Spanish: The Bantam New College Spanish & English Dictionary

Health: pocket folder

Music:  (grades 6– 8) pocket folder
