Spelling Bee

The Association of Christian Schools International Annual Spelling Bee will be held November 5, 2007 at Calvary Church in Lancaster.
The Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI) sponsors a District Spelling Bee for Christian school students in grades 5 - 8 during the month of November. Students qualifying will be eligible for the Regional Spelling Bee and National Spelling Bee.
This event allows students to develop an opportunity to express themselves in areas of public communication and accurate usage of words and vocabulary by encouraging proper communication.

2007
On November 5, 2007 at Calvary Church in Lancaster, PA the top spellers from each grade, fifth through eighth, will compete in the ACSI District Spelling Bee.

8th Grade - Carissa Erdman (4th Place) & Sarah Young
7th Grade - Patrick Slackman & Scott Fahringer
6th Grade - Jessalyn Stuck & Wyatt Derk
5th Grade - Torri Erdman & Cierra Gross

Each student is to be congratulated for their participation and commended for their hard work to prepare for the spelling bee.
